Oh yeah...forgot about Andrew with the Evo 8 too.

I'm the owner of an Exedy Twin HD. Ships today. Will be here Sat. hmm do I try the install? I'm leaning towards yes. It's a weekend warrior car and can sit. Gotta learn sometime right!?!?!

ACT Fails lol.... i had one, and hated it. For the power you want, and the type of driving you do... exedy is perfect. Scott at TTP can recommend ACT packages though. He seems to have a pretty good knowledge base and experience level with them.

I always leaned towards the exedy from day one. The guy did suggest (maybe) the hyper single exedy. I thought about it for a second, but went with the twin. He said it's identical, just a single plate, not two.

Ehh, it's bought. I just need to put it in and call it a day. I know the useable power band is an issue..but whats your thoughts on raising my rev limiter after I do springs/retainers? Any chance that's gonna be enough to get me across the 1/4 with gearing left? I know most go to 8k with cossies with springs/ret's...??

Where's the best place to get a new throw out bearing? Just hit up the dealership? Or lancershop or the like?

Still freezing my sack off. I don't want to leave where I am at. Chowhall is out of control. Open 24 hours, all kinds of good chow. Have a British, flavorless chowhall to look forward to when I get in country. Damn!
