Bob- a 14 is a bell housing bolt... make sure the back bolt (right in from of the speed sensor is in) there is only 4 ( i think ) 14mm bolts on top of the trans that go into the block. likely they forgot to get the back one in.. as far as the t-case bolts... just wrench her back in... told you to let me do it.. i dont care how many years experience you have... if you have never done an evo it sucks the first time.

let me know if i can help with anything else

yeah, that's all cool. I looked all around and cant find where that one is missing from. It's possible it's back there.

My thing is, paying a shop $$$ to do a job when I could have taken it elsewhere for cheaper. I took it to them bc it's a new national chain. Their shop is clean, and seemed organized. I figured they would tq stuff to specs, and DO IT RIGHT.

I was wrong. I know ALL of those bolts have tq specs. Evomoto shows all of them in their install guide. I just wonder what other bolts are missing or not tightened. I don't want to find out on a road trip when the clutch explodes...ya know?

i do... dont freak my man... all those bolts in the trans an t-case dont need to be torqued when they go back in...i understand u being mad tho.. i know you prolly dont want to post it on the boards.. but PM me what shop did it. you should atleast go to them and show the service manager/owner the bolt and the car.. and ask for some kind of refund.. im not gonna lie.. they prolly arent going to give you an entire refund but they should def compensate you somehow.

cool...I'm going to call them today. I am definitely asking for some/all refund. I'm not paying for shotty work, especially work I have to go back and fix. I also found a bolt under the car on the tcase that wasn't tight. I could unscrew it with my fingers.

Let me ask something. Why is my powersteering resivour overflowing? I noticed there is fluid running down the canister...I know our car uses the brake fluid for the clutch....do Subaru's use the powersteering? The tech that worked on my car was a subbie guy... This shiz is rediculous. I got a case of Yuengling and a place to crash for someone to give me a hand fixing this beotch...

^^ haha./.... i dont know why it would be overflowing... you dont have to do anything with the p/s resevoir to do a clutch... dont freak.. they might have took the lines loose to drop the motor down enough to get the trans out.. that 6spd is a pain to get out.. and they prolly didnt clean it up when they filled it back up...just let the shop owner/service manager know and if they are worth a damn they will help you out

They are making good of it all. It just p*sses me off. I paid the extra $$ hoping it would get done it right.

Basically, they are picking up the car with a flatbed on Wed. They are taking it to the shop, and giving everything a once over. I am going to be there, watching them check tq

oops...anyways,

Check tq on everything, find where that bolt belongs. Stuff like that. I just have a bad feeling as to why the engine is trying to stall. Checking tq on axel nuts...all that stuff. I'm prob going overboard, but screw it. I paid them enough.

On yeah, they're going to put oem fluids in the trans/tcase too.

well...they are picking up the car Wed. He offered to let me pick it up thur. but it's not that important..i'll get it friday. I'm not going to watch. I know the feeling.

Hopefully they actually do something, not just throw the bolt in the trash and call it fixed.
