Not sure where he got it. But it's a labonte kit.

BTW...why are you trying to get that buschur ported/coated o2 housing? You already have one. SO what you are doing is buying a heat coating for $100 right???

Some updates on the feb28th meet. I now have a photographer coming to the meet to take all the pictures plus the cruise to downtown Charlotte to take more pics. I need people to singed up for the meet and to show up because all of this is covered by me $$$. If i don't get enough people the meet will be canceled, i have till the end of this week to make the deal with the owners of the kart racing for the parking lot and the rates for the races. All i'm asking is to come out and have some fun. The link to the photographer work is on the main thread for the meet and some pictures of his work.
Thanks

Just collecting cheap parts. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.

gotcha...

Jason, I got another O2 sensor bank 1 no activity CEL. As soon as I get a chance I'm swapping out that front o2 sensor to see if that's the problem child. Thanks again for that sensor!

the cars great, alot of the X's problems are coming from people throwing alot of money into parts just cuz they are available and are not getting correct tunes or anything else to support thier car. I took the Perrin MBC off for now till i get my tune done. I think my biggest problem might be the Forge WGA is getting my PSI to spike very very quickly, but I dont get on it right now, the car drives absolutly wonderful, no cel or anything, just waiting for my front mount and exhaust then im of to chicago for an AMS flash and custom tune. Till then she is just a head turner for most, lol. Im down for this Feb.28 thing goin on where do I sign up at?

Well, I'm in Kuwait and I'll be flying out to Iraq in the next couple days. I'm just going to sell the o2 housing so I can get my Personal Sales Ratings up higher. I know I should wait untill I get back to the states untill I start buying parts, but you and I know thats not going to happen. I do need to save some for the Fail Crew Special built block though.

What's up J-ville? Internet sucks here at the FOB I am currently at. It has taken me two weeks to get one page to load up, so I figured might as well add a post. Two months down already, time is flying for me. They keep me busy though and I am dragging a little *** right now. Lost a bunch of weight, not like I had much to lose in the first place. I can't look anything up but the new part bug has been biting me since I got here. Hopefully all of you are doing well, and enjoyed your holidays. Talk at you later, Ben

Glad to hear things are OK. I don't know man..I kinda lost the bug. I think i'm all stop on goodies for the car. My goal is to get it idling right and be happy with it for a while. The track is a mute point since I run out of gear. And i'm NOT swapping in a 5 speed. So that's prob over with too. Ehh..

I swapped the front o2 out tonight. It seems to idle better, but if you hit the gas it does the attempt to stall crap, then levels out. Better bc before it would just keep trying to die. I'm going to take it into work tomorrow and see how it drives. I'll post my findings..

well, I swapped the front O2 out. It idles a little better, but still dips into the 10's. The thing now is that it will actually recover "some" from the very rich idle but still idles rich. I can see on my gauges that it has vacuum, but it definitely looses vacuum when it starts it's crap idling thing. Everything drops, oil pressure, vacuum...everything. What the heck is causing this crap...intake maybe? I used the ETS pipe b/c the AFI pipe was way too long.

Justin, Jason...hey How would I go about doing a vacuum leak test? Can I use the pumper for self bleeding brakes? Just hook it to a vacuum line. Seal the turbo inlet..stuff like that? Also, other threads suggest swapping the Idle Air Control Valve. I would say NO with only 21k miles on it. I still think it's vacuum related.

Cruising down the road it holds vacuum, idle it holds vacuum..it just gets crazy and looses vacuum, then recovers it's idle then looses vacuum....repeat...blah blah blah..

DA*N it!!!!!!! I'm at the end of my patience. The car threw another CEL P0134 bank 1 o2 sensor no activity! That's the front one right?!? I just replaced with a new one and get the same code. What's strange is evoscan reads .9volts coming from it...so why isn't the ECU seeing it??? I think this is whats causing the idle problem. I still think it may be vacuum related..but after doing a boost leak test everything held up fine...WTF... HELP!!!!!!!!! The car is officially a garage queen until I can fix it. :-(

^^ you dont need to look at the volts...

you need to look at the activity of the 02 wiTH A REAL scan tool and it will look like a heart rate monitor at a hospital. the first sensor should move up and down rapidly while the second one should look like a wave..

and yes DEF it will run bad if the ecu isnt getting a response for it. The first sensor Tech is called a "air/fuel" sensor so if its off the computer cant tell if the mixture of fuel/air is correct. but if you JUST replaced it and it is saying no activity then som is def wrong.

did you replace it with a oem type sensor or did u have to wire it in?
