Dayummm.....I won't be here. I'll be in Michigan. It's my gf spring break then. I come back the 8th. That's just not right. How does crap work out that way. I'll txt/call you tomorrow. That still going to be good for your wideband?

OK. so in an effort to figure out this idle crap I'm diving into scaling the MAF. I got mitsulogger up and running on my laptop and did some cruising logs. What I really need is idle logs with this intake. I can see in mitsulogger, the STFT, (o2 feedback) is really wack. They should be 0. Mine are as low as -9. I still need more data before I go changing the lower maf scaling tables though. I read the how to, and edited my ecuflash table to show HZ since that is the calculation the ecu is using, (not load) which is the default table setting. We'll see how things go.

OK. I got a decent warm idle. Mitsulogger is telling me to reduce fueling by 7%. (it's prob more but i'm taking baby steps) My car idles in the 50 and 75 hz cells. Both units of air in those cells it very high according to the "maf scaling how to's". I did my calculations and this is what I'm looking at. This is what the maf scaling is NOW.
HZ - Units
19 138
25 146
50 164
75 177
This is what my calculations from mitsulogger with the 7% decrease and the 140 adder factored in.
HZ Units
19 138
25 146
50 142
75 155
Anyone think it's ok for the maf scaling to drop from the 25hz cell from 146 down to 142 for the 50hz cell? My car never shows it idling in anything less than 55hz so I wouldn't think it would matter.

Yes! The idle is quite a bit better! I'm realy glad. I don't know that I will ever understand how MAF scaling affects the engine's vacuum, but the before scaling only held 10 inches of vacuum. Now it holds 17"!!! I can't believe it. Now....I wouldnt go and say it's 100 times better. But it doesn't idle at 10 afr's.
My STFT are zero, which was the goal. My mid trims are a little off still, but it will take more cruising logging before I go change them. The o2 feedback still bounces between + and - but I think that's normal. I need to do more reading on that. That's what the car is using to try to reach 14.7 afr.
