I can tell you this....save yourself the money and a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) headache with the o2 housing. Ben can tell you. I almost gaurantee we will break off a stuf in either the turbo or the o2 housing itself. I just don't see the point of 1-4 hp gain of an o2 housing for as big of a pain in the a@@ it is. Really..I mean it.
Cool, the only other thing I've got sitting here I'm willing to get rid of is the perrin high flow cat. But you've already mentioned TP, so. I've got my whole stock turbo/mani w/ all oil lines and coolant lines. I was tempted to send it off to FP for the red conversion then try selling it.
And, I hear you about the 5 speed rpm, but almost everyone will tell you not to go 6speed. I haven't had any issues what so ever, and like you said, unless you're trying to get it to hole 700 whp, and launching it like crazy it would be fine...just a bit of work that's all.

15 days till in back in French Creek..so excite.
And keep a heads up for me guys..I think i might trade the IX for a GG/WW IX MR.
too lazy to spend money to do the 6 speed swap..though I love the EB.. if you see any out in town at the stearlerships..

yeah I am with 1/10. Oh does it blow being here. lol spent the majority of my time in cali and oki the stuck here...man o man. if ya see me out and about give me a honk. you will all hear me coming. lol
why in the world would you want a 6 speed! it is straight garbage. if you start gettin into the higher HP range you would have to have it converted back to a 5 speed! not worth the effort in my eyes.
hopefully I will get to start building a new engine for my car sometime in the near future. it needs to be refreshed again. everything is sooooooo outdated to what is out there for the evos now adays! blah should have waited years ago. lol

yeah I dont understand your concept of streetable I guess? heck I sit at a modest 560ish on a five speed. I can run out 4 just as anyone else. I view a six speed as litterally a comfort ride not as a play toy as the evo was originally intended to be. from a 5 speed to 6 now you basically have two gear that are nothing more than overdrive gears. this is why they swap them from 6 to a five. you give up some of your 4th gear for fifth and actually lose a lot.
