Actually I may have seen that guy out here before. I think I saw him on Sandridge a week or 2 back.

I thought about getting one at one point. But with the way the economy is I couldn't justify another $30k car. Plus it's just hard to get away from the CT9A's.



I was amused the other day when a customer at Best Buy said something about wanting to get an Evo when he got out of the Marines (he had a newer Corolla). He made a statement about picking up an Evo 8. I suggested an Evo 9 as well. He proceeded to ask me:

"Is that the one that comes with a BOV and a wastegate?"

Although I laughed a bit on the inside, I could tell he really had no idea about how these things work.

 

Lol, thats awesome, and now that I think of it, there are 2 white ones in Hubert, theres one that was bought the same day i bought mine, and then theres my buddy jason, his has a pr flag hangin on the rearview mirror

 

Ive only seen one of them and it as only once. He lived further up Sandridge. I don't think there are any in the Foxtrace area. If you have your's I'll have to check it out at the next meet.


And Bob thanks for checking on that tattoo thing for me. I actually found out a good friend of mine (who's actually done some work on me when he was apprenticing) opened his own shop back in my home town in FL. So I get all the free tats I want when I finally decide to drive down to FL for a visit haha.

I've been to Tampa a couple times, but never to Tallahassee. East coast FL and West coast are so different. I'd definitely live in Tampa (or St. Pete) as I'm a die hard Bucs fan.

I've thought about when I finally move back to FL I may get a place in Jacksonville. I bought my Evo 9 there and spent a week there dicking around for a friend's wedding. I really liked it there.

South FL is definitely not for me. Although like you said anything is better than here. I despise NC, especially Jacksonville. It rains more here (on average the last 4 years I've been here) than where I'm from.

 

RKG-3 followed by small-arms fire ambush. The RKG-3 hit our Doc who was V/C for the last vic. It happened in Fallujah in front of the IP station next to the Fallujah District Headquarters. There's a terrorist video from the camera guy floating around here somewhere. It's kinda funny cuz at the bottom of the video they say that everyone on the convoy was killed. But only our Doc had to be Medevac'd to Camp Ramadi then flown to Germany for treatment.

 

typical tactic with those RKG-3's in Anbar. they always go for the last vic, but those grenades are no freaking joke, they make MRAP's look like swiss cheese. But i hope the doc is alright...So are you guys getting CARs for this. Well stay safe buddy.
