Kinda off topic in relation to Evos, but I thought I would see what you guys think.

Most people take a loss when selling their cars (especially right meow), but for some reason my brother gets really lucky when selling any of his cars. Not sure if anyone saw it, but a couple months ago he got $30k for his low mileage IX MR.

So he put his Supra on ebay (the black one). He only wanted to get $6k for it, but so far it's a decent amount higher.

What gets me is what people will pay for beat up versions of these cars!!

I mean, don't get me wrong the car has always been solid and runs awesome for a 200k mile car. But the paint is completely shot, its an automatic (so the front seats are NOT leather but the back ones are), and it needs a bit of body work. He has gotten TONS of emails about the car though.

Are Supras really that cool, lol??

Whoever buys it will probably be throwing in a built turbo motor and do the other work to make her pretty. They are saving a lot of money up front instead of paying the absurd prices for a turbo Supra and building it up anyway.

I did fallujah a few years ago, and i lived at the ip station the entire deployment, complete hell, firefights everyday, rpg attacks, sniper fire, lost eight people entire deployment, about 20-30 total casualties of some sort, never again. They go for the last vic so the rest get pulled away before they get back and cause more damage.

Well hopefully i get her back sometime this week, They had the car up up on the lift on thursday with the motor in it, so i was hoping to get the call fri, so we'll see what happens this week.

When you get out, if you want an instant job, Tampa TPD LOVES military for cops, base pay starts at 44,000, and they pay you during training, im going to Tallahassee for their Police department.

My BBK full will be here Tuesday or Wednesday. I know Bob enjoys his setup too though. I like my torque though so went with the BBK plus the cost difference is in my favor.

Pat, this turbo is great for a super sleeper street car. I personally am a fan of the tubular manifolds. I don't care if people look under the hood and "see" mods. I spent that much money on them, they better appreciate it as much as I do. Keep in mind, mine is a modded 50 trim compliments of Chad @ CBRD. Everyone keeps edging me on to throw meth on it to get it up over 500awhp and boost the tq quite a bit, but it's totally fine with me on just pump making the #'s it does. If you want to be different, look into a Borg Warner turbo setup!

I'm back from Pittsburgh! Dayum..Jesse got ticketed in VA for tint and exhaust. The VA cops were everywhere! It seemed...and maybe it was a coincidince after he txt'd me, that EVERY car they had pulled over had dark a** tint on it. I took my beater car, and it's windows are black. I pulled the sun shade open for the sunroof on the way back so it made them look a little lighter. No popo for me.

Anyone do anything exciting over memorial day? I'm still down for this EVO golf outting! lol
