Well it's not a setup per-say. It's the brand of turbo. You can go with just about any turbo kit setup, and use the Borg Warner turbo. Also is the full like of GT-k turbos from turbonetics. I'm just throwing options out there for you other than FP or Garrett. Chad will tell you though..that he's had the most luck with the Garrett's holding up well to high boost, and seals staying in tact. I wouldn't rule them out either, but they are very popular.

So getting ready to paint some brakes and when I ordered the decals I went off this quote:



I'll spare anybody the time who's brakes are fading and is looking to redo them......these are not the right size decals.

The fronts will fit (just a bit larger), but the backs will not fit. I didn't have my Evo here when I ordered them so I couldn't go out and measure them to see if it was right.

If anybody is off work, gonna be doing the front brakes on Jesse's (Jr_2006IXMR) Evo if you want to come help, supervise or just hang out.

Black with white lettering should look good on a Grey Evo huh?

 

I think it will look good. I've wanted black brakes for a while but will not put my vehicle down for that much time. I'm not much of a painter, I would worry that I would do a ****ty job.

 

I'll post pics of them being done. Only doing the fronts today unfortunately because have the wrong size back. Here is one front done.
