Holy sheeiittt. What hose blew off? Those press fit fittings are tough sob's, and for one to blow out is some serious pressure. Glad it didn't spray your manifold down or anything. I seen a guy's blow off and spray everywhere. It ignited instantly from the heat on the mani and melted all his plug wires and coil packs.

 

Actually the hose split right where it goes into the solenoid. 50/50 doesn't burn, it's pretty safe. 100% meth on the other hand is nasty flammable.

Yeah i placing my order for the labonte meth kit hopefully next week.Waiting for chad to get back up with me about this turbo kit too.

How's it going? I haven't seen you posting lately.You decided if you going with meth yet?

 

Things are good. I'm up in MI visiting my GF again. I have been making a week long trip up here about every other month. Still sticking with the turbo. I've seen several HTA 3586 and 3582's on here. I'm tempted to jump on one, but high hp and low tq isn't ideal for me. The car is in pieces again though. The mani is off for a EGT bung to get welded on by Jesse at AFI, and I've got all the other stuff sitting in the garage that's going on when I get back.

Happy Fathers day...belated btw to everyone. Went out golfing and grilled steaks. Can't think of anything more Dad-ly than that.

hey hey neighbors, back from my vaca, went and saw the evo at the dealership today, they said they got the head back yesterday from the machine shop, and when they were testing everything and there was still an issue, they found a beautiful little hole in the t-case, so thats all im waiting for and the mech to get back from school to but her all back together. I got some pics on my iphone but im going back tomorrow with my actual camera to take a bunch and will post them up asap.

 

If it ain't one thing it's another.

hey yall seen a silver evo around here with a body kit with out a wing and another with a wing ?

 

I've seen a few myself and they responded to my waves. Attitudes are improving.

 

No issue, just don't want to risk stripping the threads on hotside when removing the O2 housing. That's why it would be easier to sell it to someone with an Evo, no hassle sell, easy install.

 

We need to get on our Wednesday Man-Dates. It's been a while since we have all met up.

 

I ordered 4 throttle shaft seals today so if anyone needs one get up with me. How do you know if u need one, easy, if u have an Evo you probably need one.
