yeah..I had a windows laptop, but someone was nice enough to steal it from me....I tried downloading a logging program called MacLogger, it's mitsulogger re-written for a mac, but I can't get it working...I'm just going to pick up a used toughbook, or the cheapest one I can find, solely for logging/flashing...

 

hey guys, whats up. I have seen quite a few Evos this weekend, a couple of which I havent seen around here. Friday when I was leaving Stone Bay, there was a BBY VIII with some rims and what looked like the Buschur exhaust (i didnt get to stop and look at it that close since it was raining). And then on my way back to my barracks I saw a wingless BBY VIII with a GG VIII front bumper (i've talked to this guy a long time ago for a few minutes) and a EB IX with black rims in the traffic circle at the same time lol. Then last night I went down to Wilmington to play hockey and there was a AS VIII in the parking lot. it had a Buschur exhaust and some gauges, that was all I could see. Guy was on the air station, so ben you might know who I am talking about. We really need to get more people to meet up around here...

Oh yeah, and the stock Advan that came with the rim I had to buy is shredding rubber off of it like a peeling orange. Id say about 40% of the tire is riding on the belt HAHAHAHA. Im waiting till I get my tax return to get my F1's or S Drives, so I ordered a cheapy tire and am having it put on tomorrow at Buffalo tire. Im so low budget right now it isnt funny...When we get paid on the first, my clutch is getting ordered, so thats going to be fun. I am trying to also get my Integra in good working order so that I can drive it more instead of the Evo; I have just been putting WAY too many miles on it since I got home from deployment (30k or so since june...?)

 

Going to the field, talk to you guys on Wednesday. Ben if your free this weekend lets do the test. Was busy yesterday. Oh by the way Packers & Giants! Gonna be a great game.

We are going to do another boost leak test. I'm still trying to figure out why my spool is slow. It's pissing me off. I'm about to sell the green and go back to stock. Atleast I'm thinking about it!

Leak testing would be a good thing... i can try a few more things with your MIVEC but your fuel map would need some adjusting as well. We could try running a bit leaner during the spool up to help. Our local green on cosi's spools up around 3500 or a bit before. I wish i knew what it was too man... there is only so much you can try before taking that turbo and blowing it up for GP lol... maybe try installing it on Ben's car and see if he experiences the same problems.

 

Wasn't sure! I know you Army dogs use some different lingo than us Marines. Anyways, my fuel map needs adjusting a little anyways. We should try and link up.

 

I just seem to be difficult...I still can't bite off on the mini battery. I just read another thread of someone's dying in a year and a half. I was kicking around re-locating the stock size battery to the trunk....thoughts?....I would swap it for my yellow top optima that's just sitting in my garage.

 

lol... if i had an optima, id be swapping ... im in the process of doing that swap myself.

 

haha yeah i hate the field. If things work out the way I want after this "contract", I might be down there at Bragg enjoying the LACK OF the field with ya lol....I finally got a temporary tie on my car, some cheapo brand till I get my tax return and get my all new 4. Im also getting my clutch tomorrow (well ordering it). I will more thasn likely be out there tomorrow night at Best Buy, I will get on here and let you guys know though. It all depends on how I feel after shooting tomorrow. The past 2 days have smoked me (but then again 3am wake-up and shooting under the sun all day will do that).

 

I got orders to 3/8 in May, so the field will be non-stop for me here soon.

 

that blows... i got a class date for WOCS so the field will continue to be a thing of the past lol, however my measily paycheck will increase by a nice chunk as well.

are we meeting tonite? if not im goin to bed cuz the range kicked my ***. i only shot a 229 cuz i was freezing this morning when we started and i was shakin like a leaf...

 

I don't know if we are meeting today. Nick was supposed to be in the field until today, and I just got home not to long ago. I froze my sack off all day and don't feel like doing it some more, that's for damn sure.

 

you guys just chill out for the night...we have plenty of other nights to meet up....warmer ones. :-)
