Please remember this guy has a stage 3 BR motor/full-race head that is going to move a whole lot more air than a stock motor and he is still on a stock ecu, these type of things are going to happen
I know rear 02 will not affect a/f...the front will...was the iac valve from his old motor swapped onto his new 1?? sh*t I would have just bought a new 1 for the new build...but thats me....

Let the headaches of a built motor begin. My car gives me enough headaches as it is. I still love her though!

I don't know why I'm even getting the p0138 in the first place. I don't even have a rear o2 sensor. According to Corey and Daniel, the previous owners of the car. I have a "o2 sim".

Well, pretty easy to tell if you have 1 or not...look under the car...if you have a sensor in the exhaust behind where the cat should be then its still plugged in...

To try to eliminate the rear 02 issue/code, disregard if you have a sim or not. Put a spark plug non fouler on there. I've never thrown a code with mine. If that gets rid of the p0138, then move on to the next problem/code. If the idle control valve is bad, your hands are kind of tied. You will be fine to make a long drive, your gas mileage just may suck pretty bad.

Hey guys, I posted a wtb, but I'm looking for a Genuine Mitsu Service Manual for the 2006 Evo IX. I prefer the paperback copy the dealer uses. CD's are great and all..but the actual manual is what I'm looking for. If anyone can help me out in locating one I'd appreciate it!

If you have an O2 sim it may have gone bad, it is an electronic device, or a wire may have come undone.
