Any cat will pass because it is just a visual inspection, along with an OBD test. As long as you have no codes, SES light works and they can see a cat along with the other safety things they check you will pass. Also tint can be no more than 35%.

fck... lol im way too tinted. and ive just discovered that the o2 sensors are plugged, could this create a problem?

Final damn question, i swear, where is the best suspension shop around here? i will have all the parts, just want a very good installation and tune on it.

Hit up the Force-Fed guys here for a tune in Fayetteville. They do all types of installs in conjunction with Epic motorsports. What suspension stuff you looking to have done?

dont worry man, I have 20% on my car and it doesnt matter. IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHO INSPECTS IT. I have had my inspection licsense for over 5 years and honestly guys get so tired of doing them they rarely even check anything unless they are suspicious it is a undercover DMV officer testing them.

Check out Performance Chassis in Cary, NC...probably the best chassis/suspension place I can think of around the area...they have a website...if you call, ask for Jim...he is 1 of their master techs & is on his 2nd evo...def. knows what he is talking about when it comes to suspension...

Im lookin to have Swift springs and a RSB for sure but im looking into more as well:

Whiteline roll centers, possibly a FSB, camber plates and pillow mounts. All depends on the performance gains that i will get off each upgrade... If its worth the money, its goin on the car lol

Also, i have an MR so the OEM Blistens are pretty good shocks but is it worth it to have them sent in and re-valved to HD or will i not see much gain out of it.

Thats shouldnt be a problem for any shop to install so no worries. About your Re-Valving your shocks i wouldnt waste my time. The stockers are good but not nearly good enough for say some track days or something of that nature. There are way too many good cheaper coilover systems now for a cheaper price and the benefit of them over stock is outstanding. The Apex'i N1, D2, and some others are a great price for the quality. If you can find a used set of HKS hipermax's or JIC's you are in some business. Dont waste your time with getting pillow ball mounts/camber plates, buy you a set of coilovers and energy suspensions bushings for the lower control arms get a good alignment(from someone who knows how to set a frame/front end up) and you are ready to go bud.

Thanks.

Probably not gonna go with coilovers though, too expensive for a DD/ light autoX car. The spring/ HD shock combo seems to be what i should go for atm, the RSB and roll centers will just be icing on the cake lol
