We should pick a time and place for everyone to meet up who's going Saturday.

Hey what oil do you guys recommend for a stroker engine?

The guy I bought the car from said the engine builders (Turbo Trix) told him to put 20W-50 in there (although he didn't use synthetic so I'm going to change that). I can't seem to find a definitive answer on the best weight to use. 20w-50 seems like a bit much considering I plan to do almost zero racing (at least road course since there aren't really any near here) with this car.

If they recc for him to run a thicker oil, obviously it is because of how the clearence is on the rings/bearings. I would run 10-40 in the winter and 20-50 in the summer if i were you

Thanks. I was thinking 10w-40 myself, but wasn't sure. I tried to contact TT, but couldn't get a hold of anyone. I'll probably try again tomorrow just to see what they say. I gotta get some synthetic in there (although I doubt it's going to make or break anything considering how easy I am on the car so far).

Well I'm hoping others will go, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

KMart near Piney Green? That actually isn't too bad for me since I live in Hubert. I'd probably get there around 9:30 though. If the even starts at 11 I don't want to get there too early because people will probably still be showing up. Plus I can probably only sit around and watch cars get dyno'd for SO long before wanting to do something else.

Yea the Kmart off piney green, unless u wanna meet somewhere else. It doesnt matter to me. Just let me know what sounds good. 9:30 sounds good too. Just wanted to go check it out. Ive been to MOD in Cali every year since 07 and had a lot of fun there. This cant compare to that but should still be fun lol

Yeah I don't think this will compare to MOD, but it should be a decent way to kill an afternoon.

And KMart is fine, unless you want to just meet me at my house. It's like 5 miles outside of Jville.
