That's kind of a bummer. I would think Raleigh would have something there! I'll shoot Force-Fed a PM.

CBRD suggested checking for boost leaks (especially the throttle body seal). Any one have a boost leak tester??

you can make a boost leak tester out of stuff from home depot...there should be a how too on here somewhere...if you go to Force-Fed for a tune I'm sure they could do a boost leak test for you also...

You don't want to get tuned at National. Definitely not big on Evos down there. Spark plugs looked fine to me. Definitely need new wires though. Damn is all I can say about yours!!!

I just got my kelford 272, supertech springs & retainer,headstuds.I'm about to send my intake manifold to maperformance for that rev 3 treatment, also the head going to them too.I might get this 2.4 4g64 short block.I got to call Chad about this TAK330R turbo and intercooler.Beside that just reading up on stuff.Did you have that synapse bov?If so how do u like it.

Timmy, wow I haven't heard that said out loud in years. I would say to stay away from that since I doubt you can get parts to work on those when something does go wrong. I believe you mean Southwest Paintball and that is where I play. Hopefully we can meet on the field one day. Hurry up and get some gear here and get you a gun.

By the way Kelfords are definitely the hot cam now, I am seriously thinking about them too.

Yeah, I have it. I like it. Thing holds the boost and when you back off the throttle just a hair it recirculates with the quickness.

Yeah I got to get a new a bov,my bov leaks @ 21 psi.I will be ordering it tommorow.I was looking at the APS bov too.

Appreciate it man. Yeah I want to do a boost leak test for sure. The plug wires actually don't look bad from what I can see just surprising that part came out like that. I grabbed that wire from my other Evo so all is good.

I'm in the process of scheduling a day to head out to Fayetteville to get my tune. I might need to upgrade the 750's (we'll see when it gets tuned) for the tune, but so far I'm feeling good so far about dealing with Force-Fed.

So are you going to pick up some Kelfords Ben? I've heard a lot of good things about them. My car came with HKS 264/272's which is not exactly what I would have chosen if I had the opportunity. If you pick some up definitely keep me posted. I might swap out the HKS' for Kelford 272's.

Now I'm going to go finish waxing the car. Can't wait till spring so I can do a full detail. The car really needs a polish.
