I just got my kelford 272, supertech springs & retainer,headstuds.I'm about to send my intake manifold to maperformance for that rev 3 treatment, also the head going to them too.I might get this 2.4 4g64 short block.I got to call Chad about this TAK330R turbo and intercooler.Beside that just reading up on stuff.Did you have that synapse bov?If so how do u like it.
Please dont waste your money for a Rev mani, need to get on a Driven innovations.

Appreciate it man. Yeah I want to do a boost leak test for sure. The plug wires actually don't look bad from what I can see just surprising that part came out like that. I grabbed that wire from my other Evo so all is good.
I'm in the process of scheduling a day to head out to Fayetteville to get my tune. I might need to upgrade the 750's (we'll see when it gets tuned) for the tune, but so far I'm feeling good so far about dealing with Force-Fed.
So are you going to pick up some Kelfords Ben? I've heard a lot of good things about them. My car came with HKS 264/272's which is not exactly what I would have chosen if I had the opportunity. If you pick some up definitely keep me posted. I might swap out the HKS' for Kelford 272's.
Now I'm going to go finish waxing the car. Can't wait till spring so I can do a full detail. The car really needs a polish.

HKS cams are weak sauce, just save up for the kelfords and crush the numbers on ur HKS cams

Ok..may have turned up something potentially pretty bad. I set the car to TDC, to do a boost leak test. The car is solid up to 25 psi fine, but I noticed air was trying to escape from the oil fill cap. Like a lot. Enough, that oil was trying to spray out of it. I had to put my hand on it to stop the air from leaking. Also, I am still noticing a loud metallic knocking sound coming from near the valve cover, near cylinder 4 at idle. I know the lifters/injector tick, but this is a noticeable loud metallic clicking. My gut feeling is something is really wrong...rings/valve seals. Any ideas thoughts?
