not too much, it could be stock. really dont want to spend more than 3000. i would love to have a s14 but i havent found one in my price range that isnt automatic

you could find an s13 for less than 2k... theres a coupe on hwy 220 in rockingham county nc for 1500... but... its gotta blown head..but perfect for an sr20 engine swap.. great body condition.. i might get it arind tax time.

 

i would rather have an s13, but the wife thinks they look like crap so she is against it. she said if i get one it has to be the s14... she going to be paying for it, so i cant complain

 

the swap from AUTO to MANUAL is pretty easy and cheap. the pluses to this are the motor hasnt been bouncing off the rev limiter its entire life from idiots trying to drift. i just bought an S13 and i cant believe how well it handles. its no evo but for a 1990 car its extremely sharp. the 2.4l has decent amount of power too. for a NA 1990 4cyl.
anyway good luck just wanted to tell you that the swap is cheap and that the S chasis is pretty freakin sweet
