You too man. Hope everyone got out and enjoyed the nice weather this weekend.

Looks like there's UFC Saturday so we may be meeting up at Hooters again if everyone's up for it. I'll update the OP if there's interest.

Robert - Give me a call/PM this week and let's figure out a good time for Saturday if you're still up for it. Looks like we're supposed to get nice weather next weekend.

We're going to have a good photoshoot of some "yellow" cars.

Yeah, the pollen is in full effect right now

Chris makes a great point about the pollen and the photoshoot. I vote that we wait another couple weeks so the pollen is gone

I concur!

On an unrelated note, my front windshield needs to be replaced. I got a few cracks running down the middle of it from what I can only assume a severe temp change when I washed it. There is no visible sign of an impact point and it happened when I was rinsing the pollen off. I didn't see it happen explicitly I just noticed it right after I rinsed it.

Anyway, I have $500 deduct on comprehensive and they don't waive the fee for "replacement" only "repair." So I need a good reputable shop that can do the replacement for me. Preferably on site and soon!

The windshield on my X also cracked (but from a small rock). I remember hearing the rock, but didn't see anything. Woke up the next morning and the crack was 1.5 feet long.

I used Glass Doctor. Total to replace was around $250. They used OEM glass. They came out to my work and replaced it. They were able to do it same day for me.

If they can't do it, you could Safelite. I think they cost the same and will also come to you.

Yea, you're insurance should cover that windshield 100% free.
It's considered a safety issue, and they have to cover it.
especially if it was 1.5 feet long.

I got mine done a while back when a truck kicked up a rock and put a quarter size hole right in my vision area..
free99 and they came to my work and did it in the parking lot in an hour.
