daaam lot sof posts to reply to..lol here it is :
dan: unfortunatly no not for now, gonna stick with a stock 9 turbo just to atleast enjot what it feels like boosting @ 24psi since iam only hitting 22psi max..lol hopefuly someday when things get better, i will go bigger which will probably one of the gt or pt series turbos. dont mind the lag if there was any after seeing that bad *** this weekend..lol
bj: ya i believe it urs, getting it off josh, and the man is nice enough to offer me his garage and help to swap it in. lucky to have his help, otherwise, there would be noway in hell doing it in the parking lot of my apprtment building..lol
jayson, stay on the dyno dude, i might come see u saturday if we get done early for some tweaking..lol
on a side note, i think Krysten (Ralliartgirl from fayetville) wants to come out for the meet as well someone shoudl pm her some of the details cuz i dont think she knows about thhis thread.
edit: my original plans were to get the 5857 and be done with it, but after seeing how the act street disk on jami'es couldnt hold **** on that turbo, it got me thinking "wth would my stocker clutch do then..lol" it will probably be stock turbo setup, maybe some cams/springs and clutch down the rd. gotta use the budget wisely!

Mike - Thanks for getting the list together and sending out PM's
Dustin - From south of Raleigh: Take I40W to 540E. On 540E, take the Lumley Rd exit (Might be exit 3 or 4 but don't hold me to that). Off the exit, hang a left and you'll come to the stop light at the Brier Creek Pkwy. At the light, hang a right onto Brier Creek Pkwy. Maybe a mile or so up the road, take the second right which will bring you into the shopping center area. At the 4 way stop, hang a left and Barnes and Noble should be on your right and the car show will be on your left next to Caribou Coffee. We're going to park on the right this time (the Barnes and Noble side).
I think that should get you there, but if not don't hesitate to give me a call and I can meet you/talk you through it. I'll PM you my number if you want.
Daniel

When the engine blew, it was so fast.
It went from 7000 rpm to 0 and everything just stopped.
So I doubt any metal made it's way thru the oil to the turbo, cuz it was all over the street and the underside of my car.. lol
I haven't done a thorough inspection of it yet, but I will soon.
The only thing that I noticed was one of the lines had some shrapnel thru it,
but that was outside the housing about 6 inches and is replaceable.
I did check for any shaft play which was zero, or nicked blades on the wheels and there were none.
It only had maybe 2000 miles on it and looks brand new still.
I'll let it go cheap. really cheap. --> Money towards exedy twin. :-)
Also have the other parts to go with it. ( Ported ex. mani, LiCP, dp, 880 Inj., S1 cams , etc. )

I know you're busy Justin, and that's a GOOD thing! If you get a chance, do swing by, man...it's been a while since we had a good meet up here and we need some of the OG guys to represent!
