Yea I know the difference in close loop and open loop. I would tune the evo my self but by the time I rent the dyno get the crap I need I'll be at or more money than having shop do it.

yeah, i feel you on that one... tuning can get very expensive in the initial setup. It seems as though you have plans with FFP. If not, we'd be happy to help and if cost is your concern, we dont have dyno fees to pay for...

Hey guys...I am about to do my brakes & also repaint my calipers, wish I could send them to TCC but can't afford the down time right now...but I am trying to decide between the stock red & white or going to black calipers & white stickers...I am kinda leaning toward the black & white...what do you guys think??

I would do them black, cause eventualy the whites will turn black form all the break dust.

did u decide on the pads? iam looking into the ferrodo ones, but they seem a bit more expensive than the hawks.

Black definitely. I think you could find some GG stickers as well to put under the clear coat from the same guy everyone else uses on ebay.

Make sure you buy from the right guy... the front and rear are 2 different sizes. 1 guy will give you 4 of the same size. The guy i bought mine from when i did it on my white evo was in england i think. Very quick shipping and as far as i know, the decals are still white today
