Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet

so i totally got to play with a slantnose 911 on the way home from work yesterday :-P. Initially it intimidated the hell out of me cause it was set up for a track all lowered with a whale tail and wing on top of that sounding good with a deep rumbly exhaust. But the look on his face afterwards was priceless, kinda like "i wasn't expecting that..." :-)

it was a dark greyish color with corbeau seats, def lowered, whaletail with some kind of wing on top of that, i think it had chrome wheels or something with a chrome lip, slantnose, driver was mid40's-50's with grey hair but a cool guy...i got the thumbs up afterwards...

It's definitely louder! It feels like it needs a tune though...right now it's at that stage where it SOUNDS like it should be faster, but it doesn't FEEL as fast as it sounds. The rumble at idle is nice though...makes me wish I had cams to lope it up a bit...
I need to adjust the rear hanger a bit too...every once in a while from a stop, the rear section will knock against a bolt so I get that metal on metal vibration.
I got some liquid electrical tape to do a better job of sealing up the o2 wires, so that'll be a non-issue after this weekend!
Last but not least, my new tires should be in on Monday or Tuesday, so I need to set up an appointment with Jim over at PC to get them mounted/balanced and an alignment.
Where has all my money gone?

Well, I can't seem to adjust the exhaust so that the rear flange is not resting against a rear diff casing bolt. Does anyone have any exhaust heat wrap I could have a bit of to wrap the flange and at least cushion the impact and minimize vibration?
Thanks!
Thanks!
