I'm going to try and pick up the black 06 evo up the street from me... we'll see what happens...
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...5&aff=national
Can anyone tell me by looking what "version" this is... because I can't tell. It has all the signs of an MR but no BBS'...
I am going to take it for a spin tomorrow and I'll find out if it's a 6spd or not

ya it can get confusing i guess but u will shortly be able to tell the differences once u get into one.
here is thier break down if i remember correctly:
1) GSR-most common and base model. it has the same wheels as the car ur showing in the link with similiar seats but slightly off in color.
2) GSR SE- it has the front lip, se floor mats (i think), hid lights, and bbs SE (silver) wheels.
3) GSR RS- the most basic model and the lightest out of them all. no power windows...etc
4) GSR SSL- its the GSR model with leather seats, sunroof, and a suround system and HID's
5) MR- bilestien shocks, 6 spd tranny, vortex generator (the fins on the roof), boost/volt/oil temp gauges
hope this helps!

Well thanks... frankly the Cobalt scene is well to say the least "retarded" for someone like me who's gonna be 30 and most of the cobalt owners are 20-22 it gets a little dumb.
I don't mind the business from tuning all these cars, but the dumb... What BOV is best? And can I make 500+ hp on the stock turbo? questions all make me wanna punch them in the face!
I don't have much of a choice Iright... There is only 2 within 100 miles atleast on Cars.com and autotrader! But I would rather have one with some kind of warranty for atleast some piece of mind.
