this is a store near the meet. Its in the parking lot across from barnes and noble and pier 1 imports. Meet usually starts up around 8:30-9 and goes until 11, 12 at the very very latest.

 

It's right across from the Barnes and Noble. You won't be able to miss it. I'll be up there around 9:15-9:30. Ali said he might be going, and Jim as well.

Just an fyi, stoptech and powrslot rotors are both the same product, apparently they are both owned by the same company CentricParts http://www.centricparts.com/CentricHighPerformance.html so dont be surprised if u buy stoptechs and they arrive in powerslot/centric boxes, I confirmed this with stoptech.


Jim, if u haven’t disposed the rear pads yet, can u take a pic of them side by side? I meant to do comparison of the two and see the wear pattern on them.

Well guys long time no speak... been real busy did some work on the car today...

Supertech 80# valvesprings, retainers were put in along with some pretty stuffs....

Now I can safely rev out to 8k if I wish.. although untill the bigger turbo gets here this lil' feller runs out of steam around 6500 or so.

Put in a step colder ngk plugs, and slapped the cooler weather tune file on the car... so she stays together till she gets built.







wrinkle red... and new hotside pipe should be back from powdercoating this week. And it'll be black to match the intake.

as dan said it looks like we are having another cookout/gathering at my place coming up somewhat soon. I plan on having burgers, hotdogs, chips, and beer same as last time (although I now have comfy couches to sit in instead of the old ones which were meh). I need to know what weekend works best for you guys coming up in the next month or so. I can't do it this upcoming weekend or the weekend at the end of the month. So that leaves 23/24 and 16/17 for OCT and the first two wekends in NOV. So give a top two pick of your first choice and a backup if possible and we can hopefully arrive at a solid weekend when most of you can make it out. Also non-evo guys are allowed to come as well.

 

All of Oct is iffy for me. Work has been pulling the ole, 6-7 days a week deal. once i hear a date i'll try to get some time off work.
