yep only negative is the extreme temps can wreck havoc on your welds/bolts/etc plus the fluctuations in temps are more extreme but hey if its force inducted chances are you're already playing with high temps

 

Real heat is only applies during wot pull.. after that the temps start to go down almost instantaneously.

The bolts cool down faster due to them being smaller mass. This is how sometimes turbo manifold bolts get "loose" and why full race cuts the flange that bolts to the heat so each cylinder is not "tied" to the next.

I know a few of you are soccer fans.. the Railhawks are now in the national championship after the playoff win last night. It's a home/away series and their home game is October 30th at 7pm. Anyone interested in going? We'd have to decide pretty soon to get a good amount of tickets together.

i can't be sure if i'll be off. i know the next 11 days straight i'll be working 12's so i'm not sure if i'll have off. i'll let you know as soon as i find out though. i might be able to get discounts for that as well, the Railhawk's give a pretty good military discount. And i just bought tickets to go home on Nov. 11-19 so sorry i'll be missing the cookout. I hope to make the dyno day though.
