There's a show on Discovery called Hell Roads which talks about crazy roads throughout the world. They did a special on the dragon! Even talked to Killboy and his wife haha

yep.... definately need new tires and suspension before i run that. i'll have to see if my buddy still has his Hero GoPro to stick on the cars and get some video of it.

 

Several of the X guys are planning on hitting up the Brier Creek meet Saturday morning (assuming the weather holds out). Any of you guys planning on going?

any of you guys volunteering for the rally in Cheraw, SC this saturday? I am, and my roomate. Should be pretty fun.

I'll have to look back and see when ya'll are planning the TotD trip and see if it fits my schedule. Been wanting to do that for ages.

 

Lancer - should be 3 or 4 of us there for that meet. I'll post up if we decide not to go due to weather or something.

AreSTG - We're planning on going the weekend of April 21 I think. We still need to finalize our plans and book lodging somewhere soon.

 

I'm going to try to stop by, but I won't be in the Evo. My schedule changed this week to M-F again.

Unfortunately, as my first weekend free, I have a lot of errands to run.

 

If the issues with my car get worked out I'll try to make it to brier creek. Some shoddy wiring by some friends of mine caused a bit of an electronic meltdown so hopefully Justin and the guys can get it figured out for me.

 

Sounds good. Brier Creek is so close (considering all of the other meets in this area).

 

Beware of the Evolution IX SE at Durham's Best Used Cars. I am 90% sure that the TiAL wastegate is a fake. It looks just like the fakes in the thread posted about that issue not too long ago.

 

Thanks for the heads-up, but I'm betting a IX SE in Durham is probably about $28k asking price, so I wouldn't worry about any of us buying it.

There is a good reason for that price, too. The engine bay looks like a child went at it with some tin foil and zip-ties. The 19" wheels don't help, either.

 

Looks like the weather may hold up for the Saturday meet. Can't wait!
