Congrats on the new car, if you don't mind me asking, where or who did you buy it from? Also, 93 oct or e85?

I have a 2.3 long block sitting in the garage at the moment, trying to decide on turbo.

I got it from a guy in Maryland. Original owner and has receipts for all work done. Very clean and well done.

oh, damn. miscommunication then. I never got confirmation from you that would work, but no worries. I likely missed it since I'm so damn busy like 24x7.

I'll be in touch

Once Justin & Babi get done fondling the car, I'll have to meet up with ya & go for a spin. I'm interested in seeing what the 2.3, FP Black combo feels like.

Is the Black JB, BB or BB w/ new housing?

it feels great until the torque explodes part of the driveline... last one we did was 615/515 on e85 and literally grenaded the trans a couple weeks later...

BJ.... if I would do it again I would still go the 35r variant route....lag is overrated, and frankly 550whp is also overrated (saw ur semi targets on fb)....it will get old very quickly and the sec a boosted v8 passes you from a roll, u will reconsider for something setup for top-end.

FFP's comment on the trq is very true.... the last few passes on my car I turned the boost to 37psi while still holding 180 psi comp test across the board. Most of it came on up in the rpm where the inertia is low....so less stress on the motor.

^^^ which is why we still advise on doing a t3 kit out the gate.

That black 8 on TRC "Jasmine" came to us same way. FPblack, tubular mani, dump, basically the works for a stock frame setup making 620hp on e85 and kill mode.. switched to a 6466 and only came out of pocket around 800 by the time he sold all his stock frame stuff....Obviously that car makes a ton more power now

Once a boosted V8 passes me from a roll the evo will take a nap in the garage for a while & I'll build a boosted V8
