saw a silver evo at walgreens on glenwood around 9pm...


Also does anybody by chance have a new Walbro 255 fuel pump lying around they don't need?...mine was loud as hell last night and i'm pretty sure its on its last leg so i need 1...if anyone has 1 let me know, thanks.

I have one sitting in my garage, but it's waiting to go in my car. I ordered mine with the install kit for a pretty good price and it got here very quickly. PM me and I'll try to find the link

Walbros are loud. Monitor your AFR instead.

An installation kit is not required for an Evo. Its a hoax. You swap over your filter from the existing pump and you're done.

I know they are loud, i've had Walbros in both my cars over the past 5 years...AFR seems to be fine so far. Here is my thread about it...

Just like Scott said no install kit needed. I bought the 1 in my car 2.5 years & 27k miles ago from Import Image Racing for $75 shipped i think...

The only thing I dont like about not using the install kit, the rubber piece on the bottom of the stock unit doesnt seem to fit as tight on the Walboro and doesnt keep as much pressure on the bottom of the pump. That is the only reason I'd ever buy the kit, for one stinking rubber piece. The rest is useless.
