haha man tubing is tubing, there is no trick to it as long as its a seemless weld, then i think it should be good. i was just curiouse anyways. that would probably be one of the last mods.

staying stock or modding?? most likely modding, just need the dealer to take care of these few things then iam definitly gonna start husling for some parts. probably will do the following:
1) tbe (which i already have)
2) intake
3)qtp or epm dump pipe
4) ic piping
5) and flash or tune at 24psi

and depending on how the budget works out, an FP Red will be on that list as well.
will see how it works out.

Tubing is definitely not tubing.... not as far as exhaust manifolds go. Cheap steel will not last long at 1600+ * the car will be running at on the manifold.

personally a manifold is a waste of time...o2 dump yes.. but i wouldnt spend 400-500 on a stock turbo manifold. i would look into something else like cams...

i never had a o2 housing or a tubular manifold and ran 12.0@111 with a tbe,mbc,intake,mail-in flash

DAMN.. i guess this lil meet is gonna be pretty big...

Bigric,
what would be the deciding factors when it comes to tubing manifolds beside durability then?

justin,
what psi were u running? that's a dam good flat # for the mods u had at the time.

ya cams, springs, and retainers would be something i will do down the road, but at the moment. still learning on howeverything is being done.

thanks guys!

i ran that 3 years ago when nopbody ran 24psi on stock everything.. i was 22psi.. but i can drive pretty good. it was on the stock clutch and the stocker slips out awesome used to cut 1.67 60's everytime.. thats why my stocker was gone in 7k tho too.

I think it is crazy guys run 24-25 psi on pump gas with a stock block/head stuff

i think the epm dumps are very nice but all that ported and coated manifold **** is a waste of money..

From what i have read i think its still stock block with cams and whatnot...bolt on 35R kit with meth =570whp...

And a tubular manifold is a waste for a stock turbo but it has shown some nice gains on the FP Green & Red turbos and maybe on the BBK Full turbo...
