i dont see it being an issue my rookie will be out and my other rookie will go back to his FTO that week also. i have the hours so all i gotta do is get the srgt and capt to sign off on it.

to every hotel listed on that site you will see like mileage which is closer to downtown so i guess anything that like 0.4 miles or closer will be the best for you guys so you can walk drunk home,lol

me and my friends were at the new wild wings in downtown last night, they have great food and live band on friday nights i dont know they might have it on saturdays too. we might chill there after the meet.

Omni - closest to the bars where you want to be (decent covered parking). Cross one street and you're at 7 bars (epicenter).
Westin - nicest hotel in uptown with great parking deck (lowered cars will have no issues) and close to UTC.
Marriot - one block from the epicenter, cigar bar on first floor, and hooters across the road.
BTW - I'm still working to secure an uptown lot for the meet. Might have to settle for a free one that I know...
