Does anyone know of a good Tampa Bay area DSM shop? My friend has been having trouble with her 2nd gen gs-t and a lot of shops around here have been BSing her. Thanks in advance.

Tony has helped my friend rebuilding his motor (different engine) that spun two rod bearings. He overbored his block a bit and balanced the crank. Also, I have seen his work for PnP-ing G63 cyl head . . . man, it has one of the most beautiful shine than the normal grayish cast from the factory. He's a specialist for DSM. Just look around his shop, cyl heads are usually around the place.

Tony has also invented (patent pending) a new, stronger clutch cyl (can plug and play to all manufacturers) . . . ask him about it. He's very proud of his work, and I was impressed by his design.

For reference, Tony knows Dave (a blue 1g GSX) and Marquez (red Mirage LS coupe that was rebuilt). He doesn't really know me since I have only met him twice, and my Talon isn't rolling yet. Well, one of his employees (I think he works there) is going to trade rims . . . that guy should remember me.

Dave and I were at his place on last Monday or Tuesday.

Good luck!!!

You're welcome.

There is another person who is a DSM tuner. I don't know he owns a shop or do a business right out of his house. From sarasota to o-town, people know his work, especially fixing synchros on the tranny.

His name is Jerry (alias Lancerman) on www.tampabay.dsm.org . . . I have only met him once, but his reputation for fixing DSM is pretty outstanding. I'm just pointing out other options.
