okay, just dropped off my friend at mcmaster (hamilton) and went to fallsview for osme poker, and then back to london (i go to school at western)
sooo was about 500km for the night.... and i filled up right before i got onto the highway..
99% driving highway and pulled off 500km.... which is alright i guess for a tank with only 40L??

im sure most cars has like an additional 5L when the lights comes on.
oh and, i drive a stick, shift gears at 2000, 2500 max.
but bottom line... i think my tank is only about 45L and i guess 400 something is alright for a 45L...

There's two refuel warnings on the 08 at least. The "Hey your getting empty" and then the the "hey I'm empty" (Which actually isn't true).

Last time i filled my tank I had the Second "Hey I'm empty" flash for about 10K before I decided to fill up and I filled 55.845L.

On average When you get the first warning you have about 30K left to drive then on the second its about half.

in terms of numbers with about 95% highway driving i get about 880km a tank,
100% city its about 430km a tank but I also have remote start for winter and let the car get really toasty so that subtracts plus i tend to drive with heat blasting and the window down.

880km on a tank, I highly dought that. Are you driving a automatic? I got a manual and took the car to Chicago, if I remember correctly I got about 700 on the tank, probably could have gotten a little more since I was in the 140km-160km range. 880km seems a little high to me. Those are close to diesel numbers. But who knows, maybe you did do it. Makes me wanna really try to see what I can get next time I go on a long haul. In the end the car isnt that great in the city compared to the highway.

i gotta stop shifting at 4grand...
but in all seriousness...i do a lot of highway...and i am a pretty calm driver...
so my gas mileage pisses me off.

if I remember correctly, when I was using my scan tool it showed the fuel level in a 0 to 100 scale, when it showed up with the first level warning it showed 11% fuel left. the second chime I think happend when there was 5%

someone else do the math, I am lazy

110kph constant no traffic no slow downs, no heater or AC blasting, no windows being down creating drag. may seem high to you but that was the most I have ever gotten the car up to from full to finish. u'd be surprised.

11% out of a 59L tank is 6.49L
5% is 2.95L
