Any insights to this? I have no idea where to find a good deal for Shorty Antennas for our 08 lancers.

are antenna sizes standardized across car manufacturers and makes, or are our antennas really special? bc i kind of want the shorty ones too like they have in asia

 

not sure, but i know we fit the S2k, as well as EVO 8/9 stubby

I got my stubby antenna from ebay..I didn't find one specifically for 08+ lancers but the the one for mazda 3 will fit our cars alright..

 

i WAS going sharfin until i got vortex generator, and from the looks of it.. i cant fit both on at the same time
though i dunno if that would look too over the top

is it a perfect fit? (ie: same diameter at the connection part)

 

yea vg + stubby wud be pretty sick

i think im gonna go w/ plain ol' sharkfin though, keeping my mods on a low-profile and subtle heh

 

well, it came with 2 screw-type connector that links the stubby to the base..the thicker one fits the base insert perfectly..the stubby tho has an inch gap from the base coz the OEM antennas has a hollow rubber covering that part..but you can't really notice it until you look at it closely..I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow and post it here..(which i dont know how to, btw, so if you can teach me, that would be awesome! lol)

and it was only $10 CDN shipped..so pretty good deal if you ask me..
