^^ You should see the bottom of my bumper hahah. A lot of the paint is missing.

Ok since I'm too tired and dumb to figure out how to do this... can someone explain what you're cutting.... ?

Like do you put tape on, put 4 coats or whatever, THEN cut the excess and THEN pull the tape off? or something like that? lol as opposed to re taping and re taping...?

I think if that fails, try beer

That said anyone want to go over how this stuff comes off? regular solvents do the trick?

If someone wants to do it for me before Sunday, lemme know... LOL.

I was gonna get my brother to but he's being stubborn and trying to tell me it's gonna look like sh*t unless I pay a body shop $100 to do it... I'd rather not argue with him.

Last time I tried usin' a spray can I got it all over the place haha

if i didn't get stuck @ work, I would've seen how absolute did his bumper.
i wonder if he took pics as he did it - ehem - DIY! lol

anyway, if anyone else is interested in doing this, we should all me up at one's place (def not mine coz there're a lotta dem0ns @ my house!) and just do them altogether that way we can help one if that person is having trouble or something..

I would like to see a pic of the tails working with plasi dip tho..

It just peels off. Cut a little piece anywhere and just pull and peel. Ez

its basically liquid rubber in a can . normal adhesive properties so it will stick like paint but is completely removable, as it solidify's as it drys. you can remove it just like a piece of vinyl without the paint coming with it.

ok so just an update

its currently in the last few hrs of the 24 hr mark of drying
the chrome grill turned out nicely

however the bumper seems a bit splotchy i think its due to a bit of uneven spraying i did on the last coat (FML)
and apparently im supposed to give it 24hrs after the last coat b4 making any final judgments, and the spray is supposed to automatically level itself cuz as it dries it shrinks, so we'll see hwo it turns out

if its the same i'll probably redo my bumper, cuz the chrome grille @ first had the same issue, but after a few hours it was gone and evenly coloured and everything

Nice, so this can be a great alternative if you have a budget in mind....

Slyy .. Im assuming you taped the tires up and took the rims off the vehicle?

Anyone know if it'll work on styrofoam?
I can't stand the stupid vinyl in the evo x nose piece anymore. I really want to cut it out and then spray the foam black. I suppose I could just use regular paint, but meh if it's the same price...
