After using this....can you put a clear coat on it so it can shine...or is this some high gloss spray?

lol no silly, it is not on special order, it has been around for ages
just go to the automotive section and look/ask for where they stock chrome strips

^^ Ditto. It's just chrome trim, not made for any specific car though I believe it's a shatty-*** Honda on the packaging LOL

I did my bumper today, and oh boy, it wasn't an easy job. I messed up the tape too on the first coat on the left side of the nose - it overlaps the border by a lil bit. On the upper right tho, that's where I messed up pretty bad. I tripped again and ludged forward (I'm clumsy like that!) which resulted to a small smear like coat. Oh, and on the top part too, I placed the tape too close. You can still see red paint between the grille and the bumper. I was too lazy to re-do it again not to mention freakin' hot outside (which really didn't help btw, coz the plasti dip dries up pretty fast so I gotta remove the tape right after I sprayed it!). I'll do it some other time plus I think I'm out of plasti dip anyway.

Oh and the hole plug from HD won't push thru all the way. I have no luck with this, whatsoever!

^I had vinyl before, but from some reason it was short by an inch on 4 sides. We stretched the sh*t outta it but we only managed to pull half an inch on all sides. I looked decent tho with the chrome grille and stuff but when I painted my grill, I felt like I need to do my bumper too since the red body color stands out more with everything black surrounding it. I might just re-do it some other time - gotta find a can of plasti dip first.

does dirt stick to your bumper pretty fast? Mine has wood dust all over it from when I picked up the hole plugs from Home Depot..lol

^ did you call the one in Ajax (Harwood and 401) across the library? That's where I got mine. But I think I picked up the last one - which clearly means, I can't re-do my bumper! sux!
