Well the vinyl comes sticky, but unless your perfect at getting in on straights and not getting it stuck to itself yes, If you wet it it become slippery until the water dries trust me it easier to wet it first then doing it all in one shot and screwing it up. With wetting it you have some other attempts

i went to the HH at hw7+woodbine.. no luck...

wet app is hands down the best way to do it.. its wayy faster way easier...
i vinyled my bumper, mirrors, spoiler inset and roof using wet app and especially for the roof theres really no other way to do it but wet =T

sorry joe, i picked up the last can @ the woodbine and 7 one...lol cuz i wanted a spare can...i can sell it to u if u want lol
my conclusion is grille = plastidip best but bumper vinyl might be better, bcuz spraying really nicely on such a big surface w/o flaws is really hard, plus its easier to wipe bugs off vinyl than plasti dip
and chrome grill cuz there are so many corners and bends its best to use plastidip
any one know how much it is to buy vinyl just enuff to cover bumper @ shinzo?

or if u guys want ur chrome grilles painted, u can pay me like 10 bucks, and give me ur grille for a day (assuming it's a non-humid sunny day) and i'll do it for you, and u can come pick up the grille the next day

I have about 10 cans coming here being imported. I think I will charge 17 bucks a can. if people cant get there hands on it.

absolute, if you're getting one, lemme know, I'll tag along. I can't seem to find that place. I was looking for it before to get my vinyl installed but I can't find it - was driving around for 20 minutes til I gave up - and I forgot my GPS..lol
