Powder Coating in the GTA

Came across this while surfing other forums. If anyone is looking for one

Quy's Powdercoating.

They did some work for some members of TM3. http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/sh...ad.php?t=24666

Here they have some examples displayed at MOM 09.

^ Ya. Had a 00 Pro .

From what ive read they can do metallic pearl and apparently its the best people have seen.

Thinking about getting a set of OEM done, maybe GG to match or even Dark green lol , and maybe my calipers when i get new brake parts from the GB.

BTW he also does sandblasting (page 2 or 3 on the TM3 link) , powdercoated brake calipers, and GB if anyone is intrested.

pictures all thanks to TM3.

Quy's definitely the guy to go to for powdercoating. He powdercoated my MR BBS rims to gunmetal. Awesome job. Highly recommended.

i just went there today, damn besides the price? AWSOME JOBS. He showcased a couple of rims he did and some examples of brake calipers WITH stensils!

I recommend him and he said he will give discounts ONLY if 2 or more people get the same colour of paint for their rims.

^ I think some people where saying $100 a rim, but it depends on the colour and detail you want.

maybe if we did a group buy we could get some mad savings? $400 for powder coat only rims is pretty steep for me.. The mazda guys seem to have a good turn out for their group buy wonder what their pricing was.

^I think $100 per rim is a pretty fair price considering the size of our rims.
I think other powder coating places are charging around $120 a rim. At least that was the price I was quoted at 3 months ago.
