Well, isnt this shaping up to be a great morally uplifting speech. Honestly, whitelancerGTS / Dan, I said to you if you have beef with me, talk to me straight up, you want to meet up fine with that too. But after my PM post back to you which was prompt.
Look this is coming from, straight to you. Not from above from some cloud in the sky, or some Kings Throne Chair its coming to you STRAIGHT UP!!! My beef with you right now this minute You Call me out in front of EVERYONE, in your POST. Saying something about money. Then in your personal message to me, you took me to task on a few things and I responded to every single one to your satisfaction. Since your now making posts public, I think its only fair to do the same in this case. Because honestly, you stay to me straight up, everything is cool, I am ok, but then behind my back, you still keep on about it. Honestly which is it. If you still have a beef, talk to me, I never ignored you or anything. Second people on here really car less about all this squabble going on. It does absolutely nothing to help or grow the car club. And if you read your own message you said to me word for word. I think you would agree to.
I am easy guy to get along with, I try to be very understanding. The whole point for me of promoting officers, was to further that. So that if you cant come to me with something, you can go to someone else. There are alot of things that are still new to the club. Other clubs that have been around for years and years and years have their own systems. Worked out over a long period of time. Lucky for them. But here and now, the only thing I care about is the my family, my girlfriend my friends, and the car club community as a whole. Thats it. You see Vendor status next to my name. If you were around long enough you know, I didnt get it out of choice, or with the plan of making money. It was because, everytime the car club wanted to organize, we kept getting shut down. So I got the vendor status so we can freely chat about GROUP BUYS. Under the EVOM rules, a vendor account can do these things. NOT regular members.
In a heart beat I would drop the vendor status. Because I dont retail sell anything here on EVOM and sell it for profit. Everything that has been accomplished today has been from constantly refining what it is we are doing. When I say we, I say the people who have actively been contributing to that refinement. Getting feedback by regular members. Or do you think my VOTES in dozens and dozens of threads are just for the hell of it and its some kinda front.
If you going to call me a liar, or thief or a cheat or something. Then come right out and say it. But all this hit and run crap doesnt work for anyone. I am a bigger man, and I can let stuff go. And if I did something wrong and you point it out to me, sure I will give you all due respect. But dont come to my face and tell me everything is cool, and no problem man, and then talk Smack behind my back.
I didnt say anything publicly, I kept it one on one. If you want to respond online here, fine, if you want to PM me. thats even better. That said, regardless of what you and others decide, I know where I will be. I was around for the beginning of this club... and it means a lot to me, genuinely, it does. I know where I will be today, tomorrow, and until my car gives its last crank.
If you really have something to say, dont talk to ANYONE ELSE like Will or Blackheart, or anyone, come to me straight up. But lets stop wasting everyone elses time with this public spectacle.

2nd of all. heres your reply:
I get this alot and to be honest with you, I sometimes wanted to quit this cause I couldnt put of with all the bull****.
Car club stuff started in the beginning, I asked everyone ok are we serious about this, or not, are we going to do this big or no. i got an over whelming HELL YA... then when it came down to getting the website stuff, no one did it. Months went by and still nothing. So I said, **** it, did it myself.
Second, I did not want to the car club to suffer the same fate as a MCCC strategy and have litterally a dead forum. Dont get me wrong, they have lots of members who are very active and good guys. but online wise there was no strategy.
I pushed for a national strategy vs. keeping it very very targeted in a local push. Hense the expansion to evolutionm.net. This has way more benefits, its a system that works, its regulated by active moderators, and it plugs into the largest online forum period.
What did we have to give up for it. To some its a lot, we are not automomous. we are not in the sense that we have to answer to the rules of evolutionm.net. that said, there rules 90% of the time are the right approach. Did guys break the rules and foul out. Yes... But in some of the cases, some of the guys were asking for and bucking authority. I saw the posts and I agreed, When G faced a life time ban, I personally got in volved and ask for them to lift the ban. I didnt say anything publicly, I just did it. same goes for alot of other guys.
Moving thru your questions... I have to ask What money. What money is everyone talking about. To be completely honest there is no money, and if i factor all my costs, I am personally taking a loss. I am not trying to be snipy or anything like that. But alot of guys stand back, look at something and because they dont see the whole picture, they say, ohh he is pocketing this and that, or he isnt given the best price possible.
Let me give you a good example. Organizing the group buy for bodykit lips. Let me tell you, what a disaster. I as stupid was I was, took everyone at their word, and put it together, everyone says they were down, sure no problem lets do it. Then when the order was placed, and people told me they had the money, some flaked off. Who got stuck holding the bag of extra lips in a group buy that has no profit. Me... cost of holding the lips, for 6 months, resulted in me selling them below cost and losing money. Not because of bad business, but the fact that I wasnt running it as a business buy. it was a group of guys coming together and saying.

Winter groupbuy first round. Did the car club make money from this? No not a penny, because that really wasnt the point. My goal was to allocate surplus to the dealership to ensure that the pricing of tires for the summer and the next winter would go down. Where people mention the sircharge on first time buys of big ticket item. Same thing, reallocated funds that never leaves the dealer. Everyone who bought the tires, bought it from a Honda or Mazda or Mitsubishi Dealership. NOT ME. PERIOD. so again, There is no profit there as well.
The only thing I dabble in are the license plate mounts, for myself, the little money that it bring in, I use to balance my losses off. I dont mention it because its me allocating money as I see fit, but its not the clubs money its mine. I lobby Mitsubishi to make changes, I lobby mitsubishi dealerships to make changes. and for the most part they do here and there.
I dont know, the fact that there was a 13% discount on all service exept oil changes seems like a great victory. What did it cost. I cant begin to figure out what that is, alot of calls, alot of face to face meetings, and lol bribes ahaha. But you get what I mean. To my surprise, when its asked of people to have a TLC badge, I get night and day people saying ohhh I really wanted not to badge my car. ANd people make it seem like we, the club are forcing people to do this. I throw my hands in the air and say, I am not putting a gun to your head for this. There is no membership for the club. Everyone benefits in certain areas.
What else is coming you ask, alot of stuff. How long did it take, alot.
A referral program where a member refers someone else to buy a lancer car and they get credits to the account that they can use for service / parts, or if they dont want that they get a check cut from a dealership. Thats in the works, the fact that dealers are now in the works of making a special edition lancer and bring those singapore parts over from Asia to Canadian so they can buy it.
Like you said you have been around for a while, and when people ask for stuff, we try to get it or look into it. But one thing that just really gets to me is when people ask ask ask ask for something and they finally get it, they dont care anymore. I remember everyone was going nuts about coil overs... then when the pricing for coil overs was worked out. and it was really really cheap in USA dollars like 800 dollars. People said, Oh thats to expensive. why, because our currency flipped 20% the wrong way.... I shrug my shoulders , cause a few guys did alot of hard work making calls trying to get pricing.
Again....I allow group buys alot of the time. TurboTime seems up set that he got shut down... ok fine... but honestly this group buy stuff isnt easy and **** goes wrong all the time... and when most people say they are down and interested, the attrition rate is high. Example... Smoke did hard work getting together pricing on oil filters, and oil from Royal purple. then when the moment of truth happend... alot of people that said they were down, didnt say anything.
Another example, T-pain, again came to me, just before Turbotime did, because he was interestd in also doing projector stuff. I told him straight up, I have something going on with T-pain. plus Turbotime told me he was still testing, ok fine. But we were all watching the projector group buy. Everyone got hyped up, and then... bang... like 2 guys did it. everyone knew the cost going into it, but when itcomes down to people separating themselves with money, they clam up.
Last, the only thing that is official sold by the car club are the decals for 5 dollars a pop, and those funds go to Will, AJ because A) its his logo, B) he continues to commit himself to the club and seeing it expand. Skin in the game so to speak.
Then people say.... well why does EVOSOUL control everything.... Do I have skin in the game, yes, do I care yes, so do alot of other people. trust me, alot of guys come and go. I am not concerned in the least if people quit. The car club isnt about high numbers, its not about flashy cars, its about a guy / girl and his lancer. The common pains, and common joys.
My final point... i am looking for officers all the time... I want people to step right up and take command of portfolios... some do.. most drop it because they realize they are not going to be profiting from it, or they see how much time has to go thru with it.
Three29, was charged with doing theDecal portfolio, one of our first projects that was going to involve a for profit structure. Shinzo was actually going to do this. It failed because Three29 was A) busy with school, B) couldnt really communicate with them. In some ways I blame myself, because I got everyones hopes high... and things got delayed and fizzled out. I am thankful for Rubberduckey and AJ for stepping in and now taking up where Three29 left off.
And that what I look for.. people who go that extra distance, because they want to help the club . not me... cause again I dont make money from this. Actually My business interest are elsewhere...
Dont even get me started on the website, I have left it in the hands of 3 guys who all said, hey I am a wize in web design , I can do this... no problem... and it goes nowhere. Now I have picked up the project and starting Thursday it will be launched in a basic form and expanded over time. How long did it take, FOREVER.. why... i guess my own bad choices for who to pick for the task. But now I learn how to be a bit better at picking.
But you can see my point...
Today , we have gained, greater control over evolutionm.net forums... with possible admin status coming next. We now have official dealership relations that we can control, and a kick *** 13% discount right off the top.
Now there are officers... and they have voting rights... they are above me, not the other way around. I look to AJ and Infamous for feedback, as well as the others to build a consensus.
Come Oct 16, the car clubs Vendor Status that allows us to freely organize our group buys and stuff, is coming up for renewal. its like 700 to bills a 6 months. Is that cheap no... is it effective.. in my opinion yes it is. because it comes with alot.
I know thats alot of information to throw at you, but there is a little frustration in me (not because of you) but because everytime there is something to do with money people get all frigging strange like I am climbing thru their window at night and taking money from their pockets.
I am very close to cancelling the whole poker idea because people just say and ask the dumbest of questions after I explain to them one on one where the money is going.
In very recent days I have talked to AEM, INJEN, MOBIL 1 JRP and Xenondepot. and I think there is a forumla of support that will work that will allivate our 0 income issue.
That said, I am proud of what we as a club have put together in a short period of time. Its it the best, no, we have a long way to go... but it has been improving year over year and I like that fact.
The cost? "seems like you just took over and made yourself the only vendor. in addition. i heard something about you have to pay evom 1400 so you can be a vendor? and im assuming the 1400 is out of our pockets...."
I took the club down this path cause I thought it was the right way to go, did I eat the cost, yes... Did anyone directly pay for it no not really there are a few that have made clear helpful jestures to balance things off. but for the most part I swallow the cost.
You will notice that I dont sell anything on evolutionm.net for profit for myself. If you find a post that says otherwise and show it to me. That said I cant even begin to calculate how much time effort and fights with my girlfriend I put into the club. And I am commited for making things better. I am talking to alot of guys to get new things off the ground but I am not going to lie, things are massively busy. If you read my blog you can see everything else I have been doing over the two years.

I didn't say anything for the longest, because I didn't want to start any drama. But it looks like now is the time when I see noobs like Blackheart are officers and somehow im not? No disrespect to him, but what has he done to help the club that is considered more helpful than me starting it?
