For some reason i'v been really feeling the Civic SI. Test drove the Genesis...didn't give me that wow feeling like sitting in the SI. Such nice seats and that steering wheel.....If i didn't need all these seats.

exterior: Si

reliability: Si. its been around for years. has its reputation. gensis coupe is still fairly new. time will tell whether its realiable or not. ANY manufacture can put a turbo in a small car and make it go quick. but is it realiable in the long run? we shall see

mods: yea right now, gensis pushes more hp. cuz its turboed. once you turbo Si, then compare them. besides, SI has ALOT more mods availabe.

brand: i dont care how "shallow i am" i will NEVER drive a hyundai.


thats why i think the NEW civic si > gensis coupe. but again like i said, its all my personal preference.

the genisis has a 4b11 engine lol its not any less reliable then your lancer, ralliart or evo. does the Si come with 19 inch rims? does it come with brembos? by the time you dump money into turboing a si, you could of taken that money and been making twice the power on your genisis. plus if you want to make any serious power your going to need to do a rebuild with forged internals. Once again putting that money into the genisis with better internals already makes more sense to me. Aftermarket availability for the 4b11 isnt small by any means.. whether or not its as big as honda or not I think is irrelevant anyway. I`d take rwd over fwd anyway

 

(SI) I dont like the way someone driving next to me can read what speed im doing. Could suck if it was a cop next to you . Also it has a small windshield.

yea it doesnt come with the 19inch rims. but i guarentee u most of the gensis coupe owners wil lchagne their rims to aftermarket ones.

no it does not come with brembos, but at the same time, gensis coupe does not offer a really nice interior either and how much $$ do u have to put to change that?

to some ppl brand name means a lot. im not hating on the gensis. i just think the si is better overall.

if you like the gensis so much why dont u trade it in? you ARE driving a FWD. why didnt u get a RWD instead. RWD is obviously faster and better to mod on. however, our winters are ****ed up. id prefer fwd unless i live in the west coast. seen?
