Anyone have just a muffler and no resonators?
Anyone have just a muffler and no resonators?
I have a Tsudo N1, but its not that loud and sometimes could sounder deeper. I am contemplating getting an exhaust shop to remove both resonators and replace them with a magnaflow stainless resonator I have from last car.
Any opinions?
I.e. how to make my GTS sound meaner.

I believe AJ has this exhaust as well. You can ask him to use his phone camera to get a sound test. with a drive by sound to see what it sounds from far and upclose on approach. under throttle.

Not a Tsudo N1..but I have a Megan N1 muffler with custom AB and I it's loud as f*ck too (atleast inside the cabin). But my dilemma is I'm not sure if the loudness is coming from the muffler or the short ram. coz I had someone drive it and it doesnt seem to be loud from outside. It has a deep tone too. Wonder if I should take out the intake to find out..
oh and it makes a sh!tload of vibration too!

Hey man i have a magnaflow exhaust, rrm header and a vibrant performance high flow cat. if your looking for loud thats the way to go all i can say is i promise you after a couple months you might wish it still had the performance without the noise. My car sets of car alarms and makes my gf complain if shes trying to catch some zzzzz on the way to the cottage LOL. Still it makes the lancer sound alot faster then its really is lol

I swapped back to stock for the winter. Damn Tsudo keeps falling off the hanger so don't want to deal with it it winter. Plus it melted my bumper a bit. Sounds louder with the intake for sure.
Lets just say I know when somebody starts my car from inside the house, idles like a ***** and then when the mivec kicks....Not as loud as Stitch's though.
Adding a header will definitely make it louder even with the stock cat a resonator, want more, no resonator period.
Or just take the mufler off all together. When I did it was Loud as ***.

See mine was sitting close like this guy in the youtube video BUT out of the box using the stock hangers and it was melting my bumper, so bad I had a whole the size of a loonie. I bet he will melt his now too.
I got rear ended and had my rear bumper replaced so I had no more burn whole and wanted to keep it that way, so I took my torch and bent the hanger bars to have a "s" bend to make it sit lower. Just enough to not melt the paint at all.
After that fix, I've loved the Tsudo cuz its loud in and out, plus its a deep sound to. Again I do have a intake.
I've never had any trouble with it falling off but we'll see how it holds up against a winter. I'll try to keep it clean and what not but if it gets messed up I'll just do a dual custom exhaust with a diffuser.
