okay...so if the meeting is on the 20th, (I'm going to assume not everyone will be able to make it),
should we make the ski date for Feb 27? Trying to take into account people who can't show up and midterms in mid Feb?

If we get 20 people, the deposit would be $500/20 = $25 per person
The remainder of the balance will be paid on the day we go

Tpain, will you allow for a paypal payment.

(25 dollars + paypal fee's)

We should also set up cut off day timeline. Lets get the list up and see how many people we can get confirmed on the list by the time our meet on the 20th this month.

1) T-pain

Don't have a paypal account, nor can I say I've really used it before...but I suppose I could set up an account for anyone that can't make it.

Alright, so after last nights meeting, this is what we proposed
Snowboarding Day: Saturday March 6, 2010.
Payment cut off day: Sunday February 21, 2010
Payment is for just the deposit fee of $25. If you pay and there is not enough interest to go, your money will be refunded.
However, if you pay and do not go but there is enough interest, then I am sorry, your money was part of the deposit fee and will not be returned.

I would prefer everyone pay in cash to avoid pay pal fees.
Let me know what the rest of you think

its 1.9% each way, so add 3.8% on top of any funds sent via paypal to compensate T-pain for transaction fees of money the money around. Its better to go the cash route

thanks T-pain for stepping up I will send payment before I leave for the states

should weather permit, we will likely stick with the schedule we came up with at the meet ,

Snowboarding Day: Saturday March 6, 2010.
Payment cut off day: Sunday February 21, 2010
Payment is for just the deposit fee of $25. If you pay and there is not enough interest to go, your money will be refunded.

But if you are going early, have fun and safe trip to the hills
