Well, sorry to the GTS folks out there regarding lowering the car. T.T

However, my trim is SE, so with no "sport tuned suspension," I guess I seem to have some more options when it comes to lowering the car! ^_^

Now, to find a good price for the part (I could get it online like some have suggested), and a good price for installation (by someone who knows what they are doing).

Where in Toronto could I get them installed for good value?

I guess your the lucky one that gets through to Mitsubishi's head office...do me a favour then next time your talking to somebody from there, tell them to build a car with less problems and with more than one coat of paint.
Paint issues have been addressed in my formal proposals

I've said this before but mitsu paint has been crap since day 1. this goes back to the early 90's.. they didn't fix it then and I doubt they are about to fix it now. For problems not sure what you've run into but I doubt its any higher then what mitsu's normally experience.

be happy you dont have crankwalk lol.

your comment about poor aftermarket support again is no suprise. There is very little in the 02-06 lancers so there is no reason the market would explode with parts for the 08+ models.

I'm personally veryy happy with my car. Its a great daily driver.
I'm not sure what you were expecting but enlighten me if you wish.
Not trying to start a argument but just wondering whats the issue..
from what I've read sounds like you need to get into another vehicle.

If you've experienced the headaches and countless times I've had to go into the dealership, leave my car there (be without it), come pick it up to find nothing had been done, then you'd understand...if I had to type every incident that happened Id be here for days. When I went out and spent almost $30000 I wasn't expecting to have my brand new car spend countless times at the dealership for stupid on going things, that in the end never got resolved. I tried everything possible, dealing with different people, trying a different dealership, and calling head office, nothing resolved the problems and now its too late. It got to the point that the service manager where I bought my car wanted to call the cops on me because I would not leave until my car was fixed...took contacting a lawyer and letting them know what I had planned on doing if nothing was resolved. The amount of crap that went behind closed doors at the dealership to f#ck me over was unbelievable...I got news of this through various people working inside the dealership that were on my side.

I understand others love their car and honestly I wouldn't even try and change there minds, obviously there were issues with these cars and perhaps like some of suggested mine was just a lemon, but if you feel like you've been ripped off are you going to talk positive in general? lol I had planned on getting rid of the car until I realized Id lose my shirt trading this thing in or selling it since the value dropped so much. Now I just plan on driving it to the ground and getting something new and never buying another Mitsubishi again.

Sorry to hear about your plight man. That is lame of the company.
But it's not really just a Mitsubishi thing.

My parents had a 2000 Honda Odyssey, the at-the-time benchmark of minivans. I saw those vans everywhere, and Honda had a reputation for being reliable and producing good-quality consumer cars.

But my parents must have gotten a van out of a bad batch or something. Every time we went in, there was something wrong with the car, and the parts to replace (one of the parts was a "Sliding Door Actuator?") were always hundreds of dollars at least. My parents must have spent around $20 000 just fixing random **** in the car. Once, I even drove the car home from the dealership after they "fixed" my van, only to start going up a hill and notice I had no power when pushing ont he gas pedal. I started going backwards, in fact! I put it in park, put the parking brake on, and looked at a trail of fluids that followed me car. Apparently, the service guys "didn't tighten some caps tight enough." No one from Honda took responsibility for anything officially, but they gave my dad brand new tires to keep him hush.

My parents will never buy a Honda again, but that doesn't mean they don't make a quality product.

I understand how you feel, but Mitsubishi isn't any worse than any other car company.

Sorry for the long post.
