Difference between 09 Lancer GT and 09 Lancer GTS

Everywhere I look, I cannot find an answer. I have a 2009 Lnacer GT. When I look for aftermarket parts, they ask me if I have the ES, DE or GTS? I have the GT, and they never have my model on file. It has the 16" wheels, sunroof, rockford fosgate system, spoiler and fogs.

So first question, is I need aftermarket rotors and pads, are they the same as the GTS or do I look at the ones under the ES and DE models?

I have tried to look through this forum and I can't find much.

Mitsubishi should make two lancers, two Ralliarts, and 2 EVO's

1 GTS
1 DE

Ralliart
Ralliart Premium

EVO GSR
EVO MR

Then they will start making money. Tweaking the cars every F'ing year costs money. Millions

^ My thoughts, Feel free to post anything if im wrong.

09 GT
2.0L same engine based on the Evo = Turbo etc.
Same exterior package as the GTS.
Rockford Fosgate 6 disc changer and 640 Watt system.
Little cheaper in price.
Better interior cloth front / passenger seats. (Not the ones cloth ones that attract fur).
Better tires.

09 GTS
i believe the 2.4L engine was only avaliable in the 09`s, the 10`s went back to the 2.0L.
Stiffer springs
18" rims

Also the GTS has the added power. That is what your really paying for.

On a side note, the insurance company is charging me the same insurance for the GT as the GTS and are considering it a sports car?!!

That's crazy if you ask me.

I think +10 HP, which is not really an added price difference.

The insurance you can tell them its an ES with sun and sound package, which it is. No need to tell them its a GT.

Dude , if I could do it all over again, I would purchased a DE and Juiced the car from there with all aftermarket stuff. I would still be saving a fortune.

There is no difference between the DE and the GTS. small stuff a few extra horses, slightly bigger brakes. but with upgrades, the braking performance would be equal.

I would take a DE and turn it into this for 3000 dollars cost. (silver car in the pictures)

Those 10hp makes a good difference. Added torque as well. Suspension and cornering is better.

I can tell as used to own SE'09. Lol, but GTS uses less fuel than my previous SE, dunno why...

^ Most of that can be solved with aftermarket parts anyway, cheaper to.

Did you get a manual tranny on your GTS?
