btw, I think powder coating should be diff based on peoples rims since the evos ones are forged aluminum vs gts rims which are alloy. I would expect there to be a price diff between the two lol and if the guy who does powder coating doesn't know the diff then I don't want him to touch it lol
either way there'll be paint on the rim! LOL..

serious Im interested, Kaho...if we could do 200-300 bucks 4 rims as a group buy(spray) it'll be awesome

um there's a lot more to the process than just spraying it.
It costs like $120 bucks just to sandblast to get the clear coat off...and that's only if you have unforged alloy like the GTS rims. The acid bath to get the clear coat off GSR rims are way more

Tony, the GSR Enkeis are cast just like the GTS. Only the MR BBS are forged.

oops yes, you're right the GSRs are cast and the BBS are forged, but either way, the process should be different

The $200 is quote for the 18s but im not powder coating my BBS.. Just my Rays 57D.. It does sound dirt cheap but i never been there nor heard any reviews from that place. I dont mind payin a bit more knowing it's gonna be a decent job.
