Are those 3m weather tech floor mats worth getting? They look pretty good because they mold to the front and rear floor wells but from what Ive seen they seem a little expensive....

^doesn't make sense to go with the wider tire for winter. I guess meh 225 vs 215 not a big difference. Hopefully it was the cheaper route!

It makes sense because the options for winters tires in that Specific size are hard to come by. I think tirerack might list 2, maybe 3 for 215 size.

There are probably 10 options if you search between 225 45 18 and 225 40 18

Nokian didn't have 215 size. I can live with more contact on the floor. I actually went with the most recommended snow tires I could find at friend from kal tire(at great price $220 a tire installed) onto the GSR 18" lightweight wheels ($105 a rim). Also had them install the TPMS sensor from the stock rims and dunlops switched to the new rims free of charge. The nokians are awesome tires and highly recommended compared to other stuff out there. The price though may sway a lot of people away from them though.

WHY? WHY? WHY? WHYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?

You buy a car with one of the most advanced AWD systems in the world... and then you store it for winter??? When we got snow last week... I could so easily put the power down to the ground because of AWD. If there's a car to be in during the winter... the EVO is it!

I think 3M Trimline in Mississauga is the main place for this stuff. But they can be really busy at times. I have a number for a guy who does clearbra installations for dealerships if you want it.

The WeatherTech floor liners are really expensive... but they fit the car better than any other mat. I say just suck up the cost and buy them.... that's what I did.
