Bumpers for GTS

As a few of you may know I am now in the market for a new bumper, as mine got cracked due to some icy roads and a nervous driver in front of me. No biggie car is 98% fine only a small crack above the passenger side foglight. No being that I have a 1000 deductible on my insurance the need to go to a body shop is not really required so I may just save up and buy a aftermarket bumper and install myself.

So my question is if you could choose any aftermarket bumper for your 2010 Lancer GTS what would it be? or would you spend the money to toss on a RA OEM bumper ?

Please post a link to manufacturers site along with any photo(s) you wish.

Anyone know of a local place to get body kits??

If I pick your option as my new bumper/body kits I'll give you my cracked one for FREE!

Thanks!

After market bumper does look good and the need to add xtra goodies on to it is not needed addtionally the xtra goddies might not even fit an after market bumper.basically gonna save u some money down the road...but i rather go wit an OEM bumper more options and RA bumper does look gud by itself

Well after nights of looking at aftermarket bumpers I've decided to go with OEM and get a stock bumper. Not a fan of anything out there plus bing that the car is under a month I want to ensure to "warranty" issues int he future. But I'll have the body shop black out the chrome on the grill and the center of the bumper and install a evo style plate holder. Might even bite the bullet and get my roof painted high gloss black..who knows just happy to still have options.

I'd recommend vinyling (for both the blackout and the roof). Much cheaper, plus the option to "undo" or replace easily if you no longer want it or it gets chipped/torn.

We'll see the bumper is easy for paint, the roof I'll think about paint vs vinyl.

I'll see what the price is from the body shop, since they will have the car anyways

Nope, that would work for me to. what did it cost you to switch?

I was quoted a very high price for the RA bumper vs Lancer one.
