(I am not singling you out or anything, its a common question, so I say this to everyone.)

why is the price an issue. and how do you figure it shouldnt be more than 100 dollars.

The part comes from half way around the world and is hand made by Rick and Scorpion. It isnt mass produced crap or stuff that is a copy of a copy like others sell.
Its a pay to play sort of thing. If your ok with lesser quality items I can point you to a few alternative options, but you get what you pay for.

Rick makes probably the highest quality mods for the lancer and he is consistantly coming out with new designs. new lips, no accessories. R&D costs money. If you look at his website you will see that its all him. www.rickchong.com

 

Ok thats fine its just when I see products sold on ebay they don't seem to be the highest quality. If you are vouching for the product and everyone else on here then it must be a decent product. I just thought for a 2 foot piece of fiberglass seemed to be a lot of money thats all.

 

So what is shipping on top of that the lip?

I just think the vlip is more worth the money since you know that was harder to create. If the fitment and quality is good then it is worth the money its just the ebay listing threw me off.
