Aww come on bro, show some lovin Was just jokin around... Not that I'd really call my work 'hack job'... but okay (: If you wanna see a real hack job just.... You know what? I'm not even going to go there lol

If we're gonna get nitpicky... I'll ask you this then... Why even bother getting coils of your car if you don't even care about the performance of the car anyways?

Please don't be offended that I pointed out a mistake by FAS. I'm sorry this had to happen in your FS thread.

WHAT A JOKE. WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP YOU OUT BRO.

I'll take my 'Hack Job' over that anyday.

I don't think you even know it's mounted wrong, or what I'm even talking about.
Oh ****... I see what you are talking about. The adjustment sliders should be going straight left-right across the body of the car... and instead they are pointing diagonally at the badge on the front grille.

I looked at it and was wondering why it was off on an angle like that. But not really a big problem to fix.

Because some people just wanna "drive low"... lol

Don't forget there are people who will just literally cut their stock springs to drop their cars.

My bad bud

EDIT: Just for the record, I have nothing against you or FAS... My 2nd comment was directed more at Qwest905 for calling a complete stranger's work 'Hack Job'.

coilover install is safe, Alignment wasnt to be done until the coilover has settled and the final adjustments for dampening and height are made. So when he went for the alignment he would have caught it regardless. The biggest hurdle of the JDM kit is the rear suspension. Other then that. Not a big deal.

I got to see the car today, and it looks great. but one thing I know for a fact. It is going to ride a whole lot better vs. what he had on there before

What is the point in buying the JDM kit again? Is it to save $75?

And you need to make the hole larger on the lower rear control arm?

Make sure to get those rear damper extensions installed, otherwise it will be a pita to adjust the rears.

thanks all 3 seans =)

and thunderobo..

my handling before on my GT model was just horrible....my wife's mazda 3 stock handled much better than my car...

i've mentioned it previously in my past posts..that i didn't want a big drop in my car...but i didn't want to sacrifice my shocks by gettings springs so i went the coilover route. I also wanted to have some fun sprited driving every now and then....no hardcore tracking as it's still my everyday ride

haha laksman..hence why i'm also on the mazda forums

the interior and the handling of the mazdas are beautiful...mitsubishi pales in comparison..especially with all of our plastic in our car

but i love the aggressive look of our lancers
