Do you have a price on these yet, and how difficult they'll be to install?

Will this be included in warranty work performed on the transmission by Mistsubishi?

They are obviously not advertising the fact that they came out with upgraded parts. It would be tough , unless you had a legit claim on warranty, then mods come into play. I'll have pricing up tomm / next day on our site

Mark,

Can you put up the parts # here. I called them and they told me these upgraded parts don't exist.

All the parts are included in our transmission rebuild. They are not hard to install but the transmission needs to be removed to install them.

Angry Evo Syncros in My Head!

I have a '03 Evo with slightly less than 3k miles on it. I don't do any drag racing, but bought the car for autocross, and (closed) road course work. There is definitely an issue with my 2nd gear. I have broken-in the motor 'briskly' but responsibly, revving the motor cleanly under power/load and not heavily loading on down shifts, but I have noticed that twice while under power I have had to 'double-clutch' from first to second, as it feels as though it has engaged but then, no, that wonderfull sound that gets us all right in the pit of our stomach!
Scrreeeech This car is new, and not abused, do I have a snowballs chance in hell to address this at my dealer? Thanks for the info!

Trans Recall

Guys, there is a recall on the transmission. My car is at Mitsu right now. I should be getting back tomorrow.
Expect to leave it for a good week.
I also tossed an ACT clutch kit in the trunk and the sevice writer is charging me $150 in labor to install it. Not a bad deal for me and extra money for the mechanic since the clutch is easy access once the tranny is out anyway.

They are replacing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gear under warranty.

I have 33,000 miles on my 2003 and it was a perfect time for some new gears and clutch!!!!!!!!
