It was April, so right around the same temp as it was today, if not a little warmer.

Just a quick reply about the tune today. It was pretty cool to see so many Evos in one spot for a change. I only got to watch a few cars before mine was done and the wife wanted to make it home to watch football, but it was still a good time. My Baseline was 240 HP and 236 tq... pretty weak. It's an 03 with Buschur 3 " TBE, Buschur air intake, and JDM MR BOV. I know I know... where's the MBC?? For some reason I still have aspirations of a warranty. Anyway, after the tune I made 260.7 HP and 276 TQ. The car feels really strong on the road though. Power delivery is extremely smooth now; no more herky jerky crap at low RPM. The boost comes in quicker and stronger. The car pulls so much harder all the way to red line. Eventhough the boost still tapers it doesn't feel like I've "hit the wall" at high RPM. Anyway, great tune and better driveability!!! Definitely recommended.

Flashed went well (made 324whp/312torque) but when I got home, I heard loud tapping noises from the engine. I just got some cams installed, a week ago but no noises were heard, but after the reflash the noises were very prominent. I think I know what the problem is.

why didn't you come back to Alamo? Are you thinking it's knock?

It might just be the lifters. Cams will do that

I was tired, and I think it's the lifters, I'm going back to my installer to solve the problems. I didn't want to get charged for the extra labor. I have no tools of my own to fix the problem.

How did your tune go?

Well I got really good results with the alcohol, after I finally got it working. I went from 355 pump to 456 and look at that torque 771. DANG!! My ignition started breaking up so thats why the graph is kinda sporadic.

AWR REPRESENTING!!!!

Very nice numbers! That's with alky on which turbo? The next thing I do will probably be a turbo upgrade so I can hit 400-500.

time for me to post up my numbers since i just got back in town.

356awp and 371tq

the car pulls very hard and everything went awesome with no problems at all until about 9 o'clock that night when my clutch started slipping. well i guess i should've expected the clutch to go out with all that torque. so now i get to go shopping for a new clutch.

thanks a lot to Mark for coming and everyone that showed up. and to everyone that had car problems, good luck on getting everything taken care of.
