So are you guys using the OEM syncors and other internals when you do the rebuild? I am on my third tranny that has been rebuilt with the OEM internals and now that one is starting to grind if i shift at high RPM's. Im really fed up with the lack of engineering that mitsubishi put into their drivetrian. I am even hearing about the evo x's that are having tranny issues. Bottom line, what makes your rebuild different. Am i gonna spend $1000+ again just to have grinding issues months later?

I asked all these questions. From the time they get it, its about 4 days. There is ship to and from time so look at about 2 weeks (assuming there are not other issues and like parts availablity and other broken stuff). It gets worse during the race season. It's not just an OEM rebuild, there are other things they do to "Set it up the way it should have been". They dont give out all the secrets just like Shep comments on their site. There is no way they could run 9's and 10's with a stcok tranny. Hope that helps.

so how much exactly are we talking here man i dont like hidden charges period. i seen folks send in trannies to shep for the 895 treatment then they get a 2k bill so whats the deal with that im thinking about sending my tranny for this rebuild during my build coming up

I got this transmission service done while my motor was being built at Buschur Racing. Shifts like butter!

Awesome trans service.

Bump for an awesome shop!

There are no hidden charges. There is the Stage 1 rebuild which is $895. I've gone 9.0 at 159.6 on this trans for 2 years. When it finally came out it was a .XX cent bushing that came out of the factory case. If your trans is damaged or something else is worn out then you'll be called and told, if you want back a POS then just decline the other parts, if it needs it.

EVOlancer04, what clutch are you using in the car? What fluid do you run in the trans?

Bushwacker is Dan Buschur, Buschur Racing has nothing to do with transmissions or transfer cases. Any trans work goes through Dan and must be reached directly. By phone he can be reached at our shop, 440-839-1900.
