Introducing the QTP Electric Cutout Downpipe

The time has come for your Evolution to make some noise!

The long awaited Quick Time Performance Evolution down pipe is here. Quick Time Performance Quality!

A fully polished 304 stainless steel pipe with quality crafted welds and heavy duty thick 3/8" flange with factory style donut connection.

Then add our electric cutout and you have the ultimate Evolution exhaust system. Down pipe bolts your stock cat and catback so you can retain a quiet stealthy look. Then open up the electric cutout to let people know you mean business.

Features
3" 304L Stainless Steel
Includes QTEC Valve, Intermediate Wire & Switch
3/8" Thick Turbo Flange
Factory Style Donut Connection
Gain Over Aftermarket Cat Backs
Fits Evolution 8 & 9

With a turbo car the less you have back pressure the better the turbo exhales. So no back pressure is good back pressure. With out the problem of back pressure your turbo can really spool up faster and put down the numbers. The only way that this can be done is with an open down pipe. This is great for the track but not feasible for the street. So that is why we're building a line of down pipes for turbo cars and trucks. With our downpipe you can retain your factory cat back quiet daily drive then unleash the power with the flip of a switch.

Gains are in the 30hp range on a stock turbo car. Even more so with larger turbos.

Will have a short video up. Have to edit it.

Any questions feel free to call us.

Can you post up some pics that shows how low the electric motor hangs? It looks like it will be awful low to me.

Just bought the cutout alone for $150 from summit, going to get it mated to my 3" buschur DP.

I have one of these on my laser and they're pretty cool. Open exhaust at the flick of a switch is a real way to gain quick power. Not to mention the turbo sounds it produces are bad a$$.

Only problem though, mine broke recently from a crowned road causing the exhaust to get smashed into the bottom of the car. It broke the screws that hold the electronic motor to the valve body. Looks like a quick fix since the motor still works.

These units are pretty darn rugged, I was a little sceptical at first, ya know, heat, vibration, water, road grime, etc etc, but Ive had it for 3 years now without a hitch. Buy this thing, you wont be disappointed.

how much did your AFR's change if any from the cut out? would you say it is one of your low cost but yet effective mods?

not bashing, i think its kinda funny, when you go to launch it sounds like your getting ready to pull a 9.50 pass and then 11.98 still awsome just found it kinda funny

ya slick like falkens rt615 will do that to ya =-)

they go a bit leaner... i tune with it opened so when its closed everything is 110% =-)

i run a downpipe testpipe and the cutout

that cost me 200 for something better than a tbe...

forgot to add.... its my favorite mod on the car...

i have the race ready electrical unit also from jegs, and run the stock catback... when its closed its completely silent which is great for daily driving and long trips, when its open it sounds like a turbo diesel truck =-)

I wish I bought the cutout before the TBE, more gains for $150 and the stealth factor when it's closed.

4wheelslide, how conservative are you tuning it for when it's closed. Are you just subtracting .1 or .2 to AFR's across the board?
